Ecolorà design has focused on an attractive looking object which is also easily adaptable to various environments, based on the need of distribution expressed by the client. The covering panel has a pleasantly curved and smooth shape that integrates with the upper part where the grid and the console are.The latter, which is easily reachable from the upper side, is hidden behind a counter that allows for line continuity. Mind designed several Deltacolor products, covering the design requirements with ‘Boxes’ (see the product fact sheet link) and the high range line with Calorisfero (see the product fact sheet link). GOOD TO KNOW  Steatite has been used for centuries for different purposes, thanks to it being easy to model and its shiny appearance that can be obtained by smoothing it. Also known as soapstone, it provides exceptional resistance to temperature peaks and environmental pollution. It is fire-resistant and does not deteriorate with high temperatures; hence, its thermal profile is therefore suitable to stove construction. Its heat conduction is about 8-10 times higher than refractory materials; therefore it can store twice and a half as much heat. Even in colder places, such as in Finland, steatite stoves were lit every two days and were so precious as to be handed down from father to son.
